Friendship Bracelets

Here are the best friendship bracelets I’ve made over the years – some are braided and some are traditional bracelets.

I came up with a way of connecting bracelets that works well: once I finish the design I braid the floss into four sections (two braids for each side) and put them through a bead. For the thickness of bracelets I made this worked perfectly so there was just enough friction to secure it while letting me take it off easily as well, since the bead can slide up and down. (See the two bottom bracelets on my arm.)

Here’s a picture of this type of bracelet:

I love them. And especially the sliding design.

I've done a pitiful job of reading this year. Do you have advice on how to read more (or watch TV less) amidst stress and a tired mind? Eternal God I've become inspired to increase my piano playing's finesse, but I still have fun banging out coffee-fueled tunes over lunch break. Met two cool people and was a guest on the @womenintechshow podcast!
Listen to the episode on my blog (link in bio). Let's pretend I'm standing in front of a rack of spacesuits and am about to be shot to the International Space Station in order to conduct research on interplanetary travel and meet a delegation of aliens.
